I have had a Geocities page for eons, and while there has been little in the way of updates lately, the page is still up.

I had an about.com page until they stopped hosting, and I also have another page. All of these pages are hopelessly out of date, but I hope to work on that aspect as well.

This new page at Tripod is my return to web publishing after a hiatus of 3 years, during which I have researched my Phenomenon project.

Howl at the Wolf Thank you I have had a Geocities page for eons, and while there has been little in the way of updates lately, the page is still up. I had an about.com page until they stopped hosting, and I also have another page. All of these pages are hopelessly out of date, but I hope to work on that aspect as well. This new page at Tripod is my return to web publishing after a hiatus of 3 years, during which I have researched my Phenomenon project.		In addition to my WOLF WATCH and PHENOMENON projects, I will be doing a quasi-blog. If and when I find time, I will add pages on whatever topics capture my interest. If the pages don't fit in with either of the other projects, they will be accessed from here. I am an inveterate surfer. If I, or one of my friends or family have a question that I can't answer, the computer gets turned on, and I go in search of the answer. It usually doesn't take very long, (except for that really unusual light bulb last Christmas.) I also bookmark any pages I find interesting in one way or another. My surfing bookmarks are arranged by month, and then by topic. Anything extremely worthwhile is also added to my itemized list of regular bookmarks. My bookmark file gets backed up and archived regularly.
I also try to stay on top of the latest in search engine technology as well, so when I tell my friends that I can usually find something in a couple of clicks, I am not exaggerating. What I am trying to say is that I come up with a wide range of topical lists, with both general and specific knowledge. The topics are varied, because I usually end up doing research for friends and family, so I am not limited to my own interests. When something breaks or needs to be replaced or repaired, I look online. When someone is looking for a particular product, I get online. When we watch a TV program that leaves us wanting more information, I go online. Health issues, product recalls, homework, government legislation, work issues, sports, entertainment, books, hobbies, recipes, you name it. I guess I am trying to say that the computer is for more than just playing solitaire.		When I think I have enough information on a given topic, and it doesn't fit in with my other projects, I will post a page that will be accessed from this gateway.
